School Research Evaluation and Measurement Services (SREAMS) - a Division of Orchard Downs Pty. Ltd. ABN: 46 074 670 643 - is an educational research company that was established in 1996. SREAMS provides services in five areas as follows:

SREAMS personnel comprise three full time consultants, Philip Holmes-Smith, Jillian Holmes-Smith and Rowan Holmes-Smith; a fulltime programmer, Robert Kimpton; an administrative assistant, Chris Stevenson plus various contracted consultants on a project-by-project basis as demand requires. Philip Holmes-Smith is the lead researcher for all educational measurement and testing projects, empirical research projects, projects that require statistical analysis and projects that deal with policy related to the allocation of resources. Jillian Holmes-Smith is the overall project manager for all projects and is the lead researcher for most program evaluations and case study research projects. Rowan Holmes-Smith is the company's Business Development Manager and is responsible for the development, sales and support of our leading data analysis software program SPA (Student Performance Analyser). Robert is the company's programmer- mainly for the SPA software but also for some web-based applications as required on a project-by-project basis. He also assists Rowan with web-based services and IT support provided by SREAMS.
Clients of SREAMS have included the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development (Victoria), the Victorian Curriculum & Assessment Authority, the South Australian Department of Education Training and Employment, the Queensland Studies Authority, the Tasmanian Department of Education, the Victorian Department of Human Services, the Commonwealth Department of Family Services, The Educational Testing Centre (The University of New South Wales), The University of Melbourne, Monash University, Deakin University, La Trobe University, Swinburne University of Technology, The Australian National University, Griffith University and The University of Western Sydney. Philip Holmes-Smith also works with post-graduate students from numerous universities around the country including The University of Melbourne, Deakin University, Monash University, Swinburne University of Technology, Charles Sturt University, The University of New England, The University of Western Sydney, The University of Queensland, Griffith University, Curtin University and The University of Western Australia.
